This way, Ceballos is expected to extend his contract with Real Madrid during next season.
Azpilicueta extends his contract with Chelsea:
Bad news for Barça. They thought that their signing would top off the defense, but Azpilicueta has ended up extending his contract with Chelsea until 2024, which Barça did not expect at all. The board of directors has no intentions to look for another right back.
Barça will not let off Marcos Alonso:
The frustrated signing of Azpilicueta has made Barcelona get back on track to attempt to add Marcos Alonso. The goal is that Marcos Alonso can compete with Jordi Alba for the starting status in the left back position.

Riqui Puig signs for Los Angeles Galaxy:
The young midfielder has signed for the American team for one season and a half in exchange for a 50% of a future sale. Furthermore, Barça keep a buy option for the player. Alex Telles joins Sevilla:

Depay has one foot out of Barça:
It is not new that the Dutchman striker does not have any room at Barça. The arrival of players like Lewandowski will not allow him to play regularly, which is why Xavi has already warned him that he does not count on him even though the player wants to stay at the Camp Nou Stadium. This way, Depay’s lawyers have requested Barça to leave as a free agent, which is the same way he joined the club when he first came in. However, Barça do not accept that request and they will have to negotiate. On the other hand, Memphis Depay’s intention is to only consider bids from the best European clubs. Otherwise, he would not accept to leave Barça.

Frenkie de Jong does not want to leave Barça:
The player refuses to head to Old Trafford despite the multiple proposals from Manchester United. He is not willing to neither live in Manchester nor play for a team that will not be in the Champions of next season. In any case, he would consider the option to join Chelsea or Bayern Munich, as he likes those cities better and both of them play in the Champions League. However, he rather stays at the Camp Nou, which keeps causing trouble to Barça’s financial situation. Worst case scenario, Barça would plan on lowering his salary.
Marchesín signs for Celta de Vigo:

The Portuguese striker has signed a new contract with Liverpool valid for the next five seasons, which makes him a key player in the squad after the exit of Sadio Mané to Bayern Munich.
Cristiano, locked up at Manchester United:
His time to find a new time is running out. He expected to be out of Old Trafford before August 7th, which is when Manchester United make their debut in the new season, but that will not be the case. So far he has been rejected by Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Atlético de Madrid, which is obstructing his exit from the ‘Red Devils’. However, Sporting Portugal and now Naples have now shown interest to sign the Portuguese are currently the most likely to sign him, even though official bids have not been released yet. Just a few days before the start of the new season in the Premier League, the Portuguese will not have any option but to play with the team if the situation does not change for him, as that is the promise he made to coach Ten Hag.
Cucurella, very close from Chelsea:
The arrival of the Spanish defender to the ‘Blues’ is just a matter of time. Chelsea have accepted to pay the 50 million price that Brighton requested. Furthermore, the player himself has accepted personal terms with Chelsea as well, so now both clubs need to close the deal in order to make it official, which could take place in the next coming hours. This way, the ‘Blues’ have overcome Manchester City, as they were not willing to pay that quantity for the signing of Cucurella.
Roma take action on Belotti:
Mourinho’s Rome currently lead the race to sign the striker. In fact, they are reporting from Italy that the club has reached an agreement with the player at 2.8 million plus bonuses and a three-seasons contract. If this agreement becomes official, Belotti will be the fifth addition from Rome in this summer.
Rodrigo Riquelme joins Girona on loan:
The 22 years old midfielder says bye to Atlético de Madrid to play for Girona on loan for a season with no buy option. The young player has extended his contract with Atlético until 2028, whose release clause has increased until the 60 million euros.

Grimaldo and Sosa, plan B for Guardiola:
Manchester City are getting away from signing Marc Cucurella. Brighton have set his transfer price on 60 million euros, but Guardiola’s team are not willing to get over 50. As a result, City have started to look for alternatives if Cucurella does not end up coming. One of them is Stuttgart’s full back Borna Sosa, and the other one is Benfica’s defender Alejandro Grimaldo. However, the priority for Manchester City keeps being Cucurella, who actually asked for the transfer request a few days ago in order to leave Brighton, but his price has become an inconvenient for City.
Braithwaite, between Celta and Getafe:
The billionaire bid from Arabian football has not convinced the Danish to continue his career in a different country, which is why he will end up staying in LaLiga next season. Braithwaite and his agents have considered both the offers from Celta de Vigo and Getafe to sign him towards next season. This way, the striker must now decide where to go to, but first he must negotiate with Barça his contract rescission as well.
Real Madrid, first option for Raúl de Tomás:
Espanyol’s striker is already thinking about his next destination for the coming season and his main goal is to return to the Bernabéu Stadium. Furthermore, the player himself knows that his name is on Ancelotti’s list, as Real Madrid are looking for a second striker to give some rest to Benzema. This way, RDT is waiting for Real Madrid.
However, there are many European clubs that are also thinking about adding him, such as Borussia Dortmund, as they would be looking to strengthen their offensive area after the absence of Sebástien Haller. In fact, the signing of RDT for the German club might be a personal request from coach Edin Terzic after following his trajectory at Espanyol. However, the scorer’s priority is to wear Real Madrid’s jersey again.
Juventus keep battling for Morata:
The Italian club has not forgotten about the Spanish striker. They really want him to come back. As a result, they have started to plan on a strategy for his return. Atlético request 20 million euros for their player, but Juventus plan to offer less than 10 million for his loan including a buy option that might even be compulsory. Even though it seem that Morata’s future was going to stay at Atlético for this season, there can still be a change of plans, as the player could return to the ‘Vecchia Signora’ due to the personal request from their coach, Massimiliano Allegri.

Barcelona will be able to sign up their new additions:
Barcelona have been the club that have invested the most in this transfer, as they have added six new players to their roster. In total, they have paid up to 153 million for their signings without counting the bonuses of each contract. However, Barça will be able to sign up all of them without any issue. In an interview to Agencia EFE, Barça’s financial director Iván Cabeza has assured that all the new signings will be signed up before the end of the market, as the club is already under a regular financial situation. However, the football industry is still wondering how Barça have been able to turn around all their problems after the financial issues that they had been dragging for so long.
Braithwaite, very close to say bye to Barça:
The relationship between the Danish player and Barça is about to end at any moment. Even though Barça expected to earn some revenue from his transfer, in the end both parties will opt for an immediate rupture, as the agreement for the rescission of his contract is about to take place. The player has received a billionaire offer from Arabian football, but he is still thinking about it. This way, the Danish striker will be the next one to leave the Camp Nou Stadium.
Fabián Ruiz is in the market:
The Napoli player ends his contract in 2023 and due to the fact that he has not received any renewal satisfying offers nor any other attractive proposals from other teams, his future is very unknown. He already expressed a possible return to Spain, as he has been offered to Atlético de Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona this last few years, but he is also thinking about staying in Napoles until the end of his contract. For now the situation of Fabián is still the same, as Naples have not received any official bid for him, even though they have lowered his price.
Chelsea go straight for Frenkie de Jong:
Chelsea have reacted and will send a bid to Barça shortly in order to add the midfielder. Barcelona ask for a minimum of 80 million, which is the same they previously requested from Manchester United. This way, Chelsea could be his next destination, but the decision is still on the player’s hands, as he still refuses to leave the Camp Nou Stadium.
Cristiano asks United to be appraised:
Cristiano has expressed his desire to the board of directors of Manchester United to be appraised so the interested clubs in signing him can send more specific bids, which would allow him to negotiate more properly to be traded. Cristiano already explained his reason to leave United at the letting he had with coach Ten Hag, but he also assured that he would keep his commitment with the club while he was still part of the team.
Real Madrid join the line for Iker Bravo:
The 17 years old player has been scouted by several European clubs for next season. One of them is Atlético de Madrid, as Cholo Simeone already expressed his desire to sign him. On the other hand, Bayern Leverkusen plan on the exit of the player either if they consider it optimal or the player wants to leave, which is why the battle to sign Iker Bravo has just started.
Agreement between Barça and Celta for Mingueza:
The arrival of the defender to Vigo is just a matter of hours, as both Barça and Celta have announced an agreement for his transfer. The deal will be closed at 2-3 million euros and the player will sign until 2026.
07/30/2022: Sporting Clube de Portugal, new option for Cristiano; Bernardo Silva, new goal for Barça; Barça willing to transfer Frenkie de Jong on loan; Florian Lejeune signs for Rayo Vallecano; Óscar Mingueza, set to sign for Celta
Sporting Clube de Portugal, new option for Cristiano:
Cristiano’s agent Jorge Mendes has met with the club to present a possible transfer of the striker. Taking into account that several clubs have closed their doors to Cristiano, returning to Sporting might be his best call to leave Manchester United. However, this deal would just consist on a loan for one season. However, Jorge Mendes will try to reach an agreement for the Portuguese to return to the team that made him known.
Apart from this negotiation, Cristiano has confirmed through an Instagram comment that he will join to the ‘Red Devils’ preseason on this Sunday’s friendly game against Rayo Vallecano right before the start of the Premier League next weekend, even though he insists to the board of directors on his desire to leave Old Trafford.
Bernardo Silva, new goal for Barça:
Barça’s ambition to get the best possible roster is not over yet. The new request from Xavi Hernández is Bernardo Silva. Manchester City would be interested to transfer the player and would ask for 80 million euros. Apart from Barça, the Portuguese has also been offered to Real Madrid, but they are not interested in him right now. For now, Barça rely on selling Frenkie de Jong in order to be able to carry oug this deal.
Barça willing to transfer Frenkie de Jong on loan:
The Dutchman has reached a turning point with Barça, as he has expressed his desire to stay at the Camp Nou Stadium multiple times, but he does not want to lower his salary or go to Manchester United, even though Barça already have an agreement with the ‘Red Devils’. This is why the only option right now for Barça to get rid of him is to send him on loan, despite this is not the favorite option for neither the player nor the club. If they opted for this option, Juventus (due to the injury of Pogba) and Bayern, for which De Jong sympathizes, would be the two most interested clubs in signing him.
Florian Lejeune signs for Rayo Vallecano:
The Frenchman defender joins Rayo Vallecano on loanfrom Alavés. He will play for them for a season and becomes Rayo’s third signing in this market after the additions of Salvi and Diego López.

However, de Jong has said multiple times that he is not leaving.
