Carlo Ancelotti, the chosen one:
It is oficial. Carlo Ancelotti returns to Real Madrid´s bench six years later. The Italian coach has signed for three seasons. Real Madrid have great memories under Ancelotti´s charge, as he was the coach to conquer the famous ‘Décima’ in 2014, where he complete dan excellent season by winning the Champions League and the Spanish Cup.
However, those two titles were not enough for him to keep the job the next season, as he did not lift any trophy despite battling for LaLiga until the last fixture and falling in the Champions League semifinals against Juventus.
He has coached since then Bayern, Napoli and Everton and now comes back to the White club on a clear bet from the board of directors to stick by a quiet coaching style after Zidane´s unexpected exit.

It is official. Kun Agüero has signed for FC Barcelona for the next two seasons. The Argentinian joins as a free agent from Manchester City and will complete the ‘Blaugranas’ offensive line. His great relationship with Leo Messi is well-known, but… What will be his role on the team and how does his addition impact other strikers? The next trades from President Joan Laporta in this transfer market will show Barça´s plan to return to the peak.
Barcelona have gone through an unstable year where they have only been able to lift a trophy, but at least one more than their biggest rival. The absence of a solid board of directors during most part of the year plus the rebuild process that the team is going through have made them to call it a year of transition. Furthermore, Ronald Koeman´s job has also been questioned, and one of the next news to come up will be about his future as Barça´s head coach.
‘Kun’ ´s addition will give fresh air and goals to Barça, but it will be interesting to see how he fits in the team, as he will have to compete for a spot with other players like Griezmann or Dembélé. However, this is a great and exciting trade for Barça fans. We will see how he performs.
