Kieran Trippier is really having a roller coaster experience at Newcastle. He arrived as a top signing for the club in the winter transfer market and he has become into a symbol. However, an injury will keep him out of the field for a considerable period of time.

The Englishman full-back has played five games with the ‘Magpies’. His technical display dragged the attention from the first moment and increased considerably the level of the team. However, his best performances took place against Everton and Aston Villa.

Trippier has really stood out at shooting free kicks throughout his career. In fact, he scored this way in their 3-1 victory against the Toffees and the winning goal against the Villans.

Kieran Trippier fractured the fifth metatarsal in his left foot on that same exact game versus Aston Villa and he is expected to be out for about two months. A tough injury to take both for the player and Newcastle, as he had just been named as their new captain.

The key part of the season starts now and the absence of Trippier can really impact the performing of his team. Now we will have to see if the Englishman can recover as quickly as possible and, overall, if Eddie Howe manages to solve this problem.
