Celta de Vigo have managed to avoid relegation after a disastrous stint under Rafa Benítez. Claudio Giráldez has turned the team around with the academy as a staple of his project.
Next season, Hugo Álvarez, Hugo Sotelo and Damián will have the chance to climb hierarchy of the olivic side while the team is expected to suffer less to remain in the First Division by cementing a project that aspires to keep their homegrown talent.
We will see what strategy the Galician side adopt in the transfer market after the arrival of the new president, but it seems like the departure of players is being prioritized. Tapia and Lautaro are no longer part of the club and Strand Larsen has been sold to Wolverhampton for 30 million euros.

Giráldez has already made it known to the board that he wants to have a roster composed by 23 first-team players, so a significant revamp is required.
It is important to take into account that Celta will look for a striker in the market after the departure of Larsen. In addition, the future of Bamba, a player whose playing time dropped as a result of Giráldez’s arrival, remains unknown.
With all of the cases listed above left to be resolved, Marco Garcés must look for reinforcements that raise the level of a team that should aspire to clinch a mid-table finish.
