The sign of Messi for PSG has been on the news worldwide. The media and social network are all debating about economics, club state and even morality. However, the accusations that today are thrown to PSG could also be applied to Barça and Real Madrid, for example. Powerful man and corruption have always been around. Nevertheless is to talk about football: about Messi and Neymar.
In the end, the game is what drives us within this particular world and from now on we will have the chance to enjoy the best two players in the planet in the same team. No doubt that Messi and Neymar are about to star one of the biggest reunions of history.
They have both developed themselves considerably since their last time together. Age is an issue for everyone and the Argentinian has taken over the creative role in the midfield as time has passed by. He keeps averaging incredible scoring numbers, but he has also lost explosiveness and so his game has adapted to the new times.
On the other hand, Neymar is now a total player. His creativeness and intelligence have reached their peak, which are both added to his endless talent at dribbling. The Brazilian does it all: he scores, assists, dribbles… he drives both Brazil and PSG´s game. From my point of view, he is the best player in the world from more than a year.
It will be very interesting to see how they complement each other. Messi himself has expressed his excitement for playing along with the stars of the team. In my case, the ‘hype’ is maximum.
Even though I understand the mistrust that Barça fans can feel towards PSG and the rejection that they generate in the most part of football fans, I believe that we should make an exception and give ourselves the opportunity to enjoy: Enjoy Messi and Neymar. All in all, enjoy football.
