Real Madrid face the final that could give them their 15th Champions League title after becoming league champions and on the verge of officializing the signing of Mbappé.
Everything seems to be going smoothly at Concha Espina, but this is football, you never know what can happen, and Carlo Ancelotti is no stranger to that. Most of the club’s fanbase consider the final to be won before it even takes place. But make no mistake and look at the results of the two other European competition finals this season.
Facing the white colossus is a Borussia Dortmund side who have saved their season in the final stretch. They have reached the final in an almost inexplicable manner and have the chance to outdo the first unbeaten team in the history of German football.

Their defense will be compact and allow very little space between lines. We will see how far the defense stands from Kobel, but this gameplan makes even more sense if we take into account that the Swiss keeper is the most decisive player of ‘The Wasps’.
On offense, Dortmund also possess talent and will seek to counterattack using the wings. Sancho will try to make up ground thanks to his tremendous ability to dribble past defenders while Adeyemi and Maatsen will take advantage of their impressive speed.
That will be the German plan of action, but we cannot forget one detail: Camavinga does not hold his position like Tchouaméni does. Here is where the talent of Julian Brandt comes in, as he could severely hurt Real Madrid if he is able to get possession of the ball in between opposing lines due to his quality and ability for link-up play in the final third.
What is clear is that Real Madrid are going to dominate and be in control of the match. If Vinícius adopts a more central position once again, something that could result in a lot of trouble for Borussia Dortmund, and Toni Kroos plays his last match for Real Madrid at the sky-high level he usually does, ‘The Whites’ will be well on their way to a win.
Both teams arrive in a positive trajectory, but, if any of them have anything to lose, it is Real Madrid, as Borussia Dortmund already celebrate reaching this point as a prize.
