In the midst of all this ‘circus’, what could be a new bombshell has been uncovered. According to reports from Italy, Juventus are interested in acquiring the services of Ronald Araújo. The defender has just returned from a long injury that has kept him away from the pitch since the Copa América last summer.
Now, the Iñigo Martínez-Cubarsí pairing seems immovable and the Uruguayan is looking to play an important role, something that, with Flick, is not assured. Everything suggests that Araújo’s departure would be in the form of a loan move, as FC Barcelona have high hopes for him and would not be willing to let one of the team’s key players go so easily.
