Nottingham Forest are having a dream season. They are currently third in the Premier League table, three points behind second-placed Arsenal and nine points behind leaders Liverpool, although the Reds have a game in hand.
Although Nottingham Forest are a historic club in England, having won a league title in 1977/1978 and even two consecutive European Cups in 1979 and 1980, they had been at the bottom of English football for several years. Specifically, the Tricky Trees spent a total of 23 years in the Second Division. However, in the 2022-2023 season, they moved up to the Premier League and it has been this year with Nuno Espíritu Santo entrenched in the dugout that they are having a spectacular campaign.

Indeed, he sits fourth in the scoring charts this season, tied for third with Newcastle’s Isak on 17 goals and behind Haaland (19 goals) and Salah (21 goals).
