Sometimes an entire project seems to break down, but suddenly someone´s magic arises right on time to make the difference and rescue it all. That is what happened to PSG, as they came alive again when they were dead. This is what they have two of the best players in the world for, and this is also the reason why they pay both of them so much. Game changers, lifesavers.

Atalanta made it all the way to the quarter-finals as the cinderella, the revelation team that are consolidating themselves into the European elite competitions, as they have secured their participation in the next Champions League tournament for the second straight year.

Gasperini´s squad had an acceptable performance, looking to attack constantly while they could in the first half, which turned out into a short lead thanks to a goal by Pasalic in the first half an hour of the game, but forced to fall back in the second half due to the threatens by PSG´ stars, desperately in search of a lifeguard.

Neymar took the lead since the first moment as his team´s midfield was completely missing and Mbappé had to come in from the bench to help him out on saving coach Tuchel. The Brazilian created danger every time he went down to the middle to receive the ball, but he also missed every chance he had in front of goalie Sportiello.

Atalanta held their lead almost the entire second half, physically exhausted and locked in their box, praying for the final whistle to come, but PSG have two game changers that blew up Atalanta´s hopes in extra time. Neymar and Mbappé created two outstanding plays and assisted Marquinhos and Choupo-Moting right on time to end with the dream of Bergamo and keep their Champions´ one alive. Paris Saint-Germain await for Leipzig or Atlético in the semifinals.
