Since he made his debut in an official game back in 2017, Erling Braut Haaland has not gotten tired of scoring goals. In fact, five years later, the Norwegian striker has already accumulated a total of 135 goals in his short professional career.
His irruption in Austrian football ate the age of 18 dragged the interest from several clubs from the European elite. But, as many other times, Borussia Dortmund were the fastest ones and completed their signing in the winter transfer market of the 2019/2020 season.
Haaland did not even need more than a game to prove the kind of player he was, as in his debut with the German club he scored a hat-trick in just 23 minutes. The Norwegian beat several records both in the Bundesliga and the Champions League, as he was the first player to need the less games (13) in order to reach the 18 goals. Alien numbers for a forward that keeps his voracity and motivation intact since the first day.
Two years after his arrival to Dortmund, Erling has finished his time in Germany in order to take a step forward in his career. After multiple rumors on his next destination, Haaland chose Manchester City, the team that his father previously played for. There he will have a starting role secured in one of the best rosters in the world.
Pep Guardiola, who will be his coach from now on, will try to power up all his qualities as he has already done with others of his current stars such as Raheem Sterling or Kevin De Bruyne. Furthermore, Haaland is joining a team he fits perfectly in, as he is the kind of striker that the Spanish coach was missing in order to top off a dreamed team.
The Norwegian forward wants to win titles and he knows that he will have a lot of chances of accomplishing that at Manchester City. On the other hand, the current Premier League champions hope that they can finally lift their first Champions League trophy ever both with Haaland and the players they already count on after being on verge of it all these last few years.
